Once a staple of small combo jazz, blues and R&B music, as well as the hard / progressive rock bands of the 60s and 70s, the "B3" had become an endangered species as of late. Good to see there are a few out there still keeping it alive.

I've never listened to the Masaru Imada Trio. It's definitely in the same vibe as that Ramsey Lewis music from that era. Definitely takes me back to my early teens in the mid-70s. I was alternating between the small combo jazz music that randomly arrived at the house via the record club, and the hard rock that I was buying at the record store with my own money. On a lazy Summer day, when it was 100+ F° outside, I'd often lay on the floor in front of the old console stereo and just chill.

My mom joined the Columbia Record Club when I was a kid in the 1970's. My parents were jazz fans, and we lived in Laredo, TX, and there were no places to buy jazz records there at that time. She never sent back the "decline order form" and so we got all kinds of 70s modern jazz records. I think I was the only one who listened to them. I still have many of them. Ramsey Lewis was a favorite of mine.

He stays in camera frame for the whole altercation. Unless of course his buddy was more than just a buddy.....Not that there is anything wrong with that.

ICE is definitely in Texas. In fact they're working around here in the San Antonio area. One difference is that in Texas there aren't as many assholes causing a ruckus trying to impede them. Plus, ICE is allowed in jails to get the the criminal illegals. The criminal illegals are not released into the community like they are in sanctuary cities. I quickly did a search and found this in the local "fish wrap" from a few days ago. ALL OF THEM NEED TO GO!!!

I hate to admit it, but I've voted for him in the last 4 election cycles. Unfortunately, we didn't have much choice. I would bet that a much more MAGA candidate will emerge against him in 2026, but I also would wager that he is about to become the most MAGA Senator in the U.S. Senate. His true colors didn't emerge until the election was stolen from Trump in 2020. Now we know what a gutless weasel he is. He actually had the nerve to run this ad in 2008.
