ok, bonus points #freebsd gurus: I moved my FreeBSD jails from Raspberry Pi to x86. This means my rc won't work

jail: reverse-proxy: exec /bin/sh: Exec format error

How can I "upgrade" an arm jail to a freebsd one? I can simply create a new jail and copy just the important bits, but there is a way I'd love to learn it.

I'm getting tired of

sysctl hw.snd.default_unit=5

What's the FreeBSD thingy for scripting on hardware attach/detach?

If you, like me, lost the ability to use vim thanks to #emacs: to connect to a host via ssh and act as root using doas (#freebsd / #OpenBSD ):

/ssh:<user>@<host>|doas::/etc/

you don't need to pass user/host to doas, like you need to sudo.

It seems to work, but somehow I can’t ssh to it. Let’s see in te evening :-)

- RPi imagined with default RPi FreeBSD image
- I spent an hour trying to "bsdinstall" before understanding that I had a fully working system before me. The image consists of a working env:-)
- added user, configured doas
- opened a new thumbdrive, formatted it as ZFS and I'm starting to create jail there :-)
