Every time officials of #NATO members state that the war in #Ukraine will not be resolved on the battlefield and must instead be settled through negotiations, this is telling Putin that NATO's policy is one of non-military pressure.

That tells Putin that military pressure remains asymmetrical, and to his advantage, because #russia is fully invested in the #war, while NATO is only involved in painstakingly cumbersome military supplies and poorly-enforced sanctions.
