I couldn't agree more. Kasparov is 💯 right.

Every time officials of #NATO members state that the war in #Ukraine will not be resolved on the battlefield and must instead be settled through negotiations, this is telling Putin that NATO's policy is one of non-military pressure.

That tells Putin that military pressure remains asymmetrical, and to his advantage, because #russia is fully invested in the #war, while NATO is only involved in painstakingly cumbersome military supplies and poorly-enforced sanctions.

That all sounds lovely. But perhaps NATO could start by shooting down russian missiles, drones and planes that enter our airspace. And then support members to detain russian shadow fleet ships that enter our borders.

I don't know if people are noticing this, but #Ukraine has been getting so much stronger since 2022, that it only took Zelenskyy's WORDS that they couldn't guarantee the security of guests at the #moscow orcs parade, to make international leaders cancel their plans to attend.
