    Ukraine & russia attempted to negotiate in 2022 but failed. #Ukraine retook 50% of occupied territory before getting Western tanks, jets and long range missiles.

    Then, #UN & #Türkiye brokered the Black Sea Grain Initiative. After a day, #russia violated the deal and attacked Ukrainian vessels. Ukraine responded by destroying, without a navy, a significant part of the russian #BlackSea fleet which was forced to withdraw. Ukraine unilaterally reopened the grain corridor. It remains open today.
