While my experience isn’t the same as this woman, I absolutely feel it. Everything is an uphill battle (and it’s worse if you’re multiply marginalized!) and every issue is makes you feel like it is all your fault.

It's curious that predictive algorithms are used for criminalization but not for the prevention of crime at the source.

Imagine being able to identify people who are likely to need food or rent assistance, but are unlikely to reach out for it. Or, understanding the environmental triggers that cause mental health crises, being able to get people the help they need beforehand.

But somehow there is never enough money for helping people, but always enough to lock them up. #PredictivePolicing #AI

I cannot understand the intense cruelty of some toward hungry people. If you think anyone is undeserving of anything life sustaining, you really need to take a look at your life.
