A very bad and likely impossible idea for @bagder: command-line curl adds a way to detect whether it is followed by “| bash" and it responds “You're still doing this in 2025? Srsly?”
#infosec peeps: you may not like the DNS, but you know that it's not always the DNS. The current episode of the Ask Mr. DNS podcast covers how InfoBlox deals with infosec from a DNS standpoint, blocking based strictly on DNS info and not malware fingerprints. (Disclaimer: one of the two hosts is my boss.)
Disclaimer: we had an across-the-board 8% layoff in May, and some of us are skeptical whether that will be the last one. But we absolutely need good tech folks.

@b0rk Files. Which implies “remembering the name of that file long enough to import it into the other program” and, if you're lucky, “remembering to delete the file after you have imported it”.
Mid-80's Word for MS-DOS made “put just the selected text into a file" fairly easy; IIRC, WordPerfect did not.
