Even though I built my blog with Hugo and have it hosted by GitHub, I don't know what I'm doing on GitHub.

I somehow got it to upload to GitHub last time (I followed a YouTube tutorial, following what I saw), but I don't know how I got it to work.

I have a new post, but I don't know how to post it. Frustrating.

@alex I'm a traditional Catholic, and I think it's good to argue about religious views -- and by that I mean presenting and listening to argumentation rather than merely being argumentative.

@FrJoshMiller Yes, I've heard usernames should be available by end of 2023. They will be a big improvement, but Signal will still want a phone number to make an account, if I understand correctly. Maybe I'm hard to please.

While not my very favorite messenger, #Signal is still the easiest to get tech normies to download and use. It serves its purpose for private communication with friends and family who would already have each other's phone numbers. I just don't like Signal's requirement to use a phone number.

@alex I'm not smart enough to help in a technical way, but as a regular ol' user, I can say I really like Soapbox. It's a good experience.
