@powersoffour this is a web framework, Rocket, running server side in Rust. Similar to FastAPI on Python, for writing RESTful web services.

Wrote my first “Hello World” webapp in #Rust last night. Coming from Java/Groovy/Kotlin and Python, I’m digging it as a language, framework, and ecosystem.

Man, I just remembered that Y: The Last Man was canceled and I'm mad all over again. I hate when those feelings of injustices pop up like a sadistic gopher.

Texted my sister to admit that I was very very wrong in high school (circa 1996-ish) when she listened to Nine Inch Nails and I thought the music was awful. I'm very aware of how much I love Trent Reznor's work now, so revisiting the early albums this weekend it is wild to see how wrong I was. My mom literally thought it was devil music and was afraid for my sister. Sis reminded me that my mom read the lyrics out loud to embarrass her into not listening. 🤦

@mastohost totally reasonable strategy. But also, charge us more. It doesn't have to be a windfall of money for you, but you should be breaking even. I'd happily pay double at the scale graphics.social is right now.
