Now Reuters confirmed the default charges against anyone the Erdoğan-regime dislikes are being used against the journalist Joakim Medin from Sweden too.
It's this https://todon.eu/@b9AcE/109677366052782731 protest in Stockholm that they've decided is "membership in a terrorist organization" and "insulting the president" (...a president who is an insult to humanity).

In addition also the journalist Joakim Medin from Sweden was detained after arriving to cover the protests for @dagensetc, so there has been demand that the government of Sweden must do their job by demanding Turkey release the journalist, but I have not seen any report of a response to this.

Regarding Turkey detaining the journalist Joakim Medin from Sweden after arriving in İstanbul to cover the anti-coup protests for @dagensetc, which was done on pretext of allegations related to a protest (see earlier in this thread for more details) held by @rojavakommitteerna_com (the Rojava Committees) in Stockholm, the Rojava Committees in a statement themselves commented that (my translation)

We want to hereby make it clear that Joakim Medin is not, and has never been, a member of the Rojava Committees. The journalist Medin did not participate in any way in our action and Turkey's actions further strengthen the image of a deeply undemocratic regime which is extensively using the terrorism label to silence opposition, protests and journalism.

Medin's editor in chief also commented that the "membership in a terrorist organization" accusation is "One hundred percent false. Medin is a journalist, nothing else".

The protesters attempted negotiating with the cops to get to make a press statement, but the police rejected and instead chose to water cannon the Middle East Technical University, Ankara, anti-coup protesters.

In İzmir, anti-coup protester tangoed, then the police assaulted with chemical weapons and water cannons. Some demonstrated being fine even in the mist intended to cause pain and suffering.

That does appear to be some kind of gun-shaped object being wielded against a protester's foot on the ground before the pro-coup cops run off.

1879 people have been detained in the anti-coup protests in Turkey and of "those taken into custody, 260 were sent to prison, while 468 were placed under judicial control. 662 people are still in custody".
