Just supported Cory Doctorow's ( @pluralistic ) kickstarter for his latest #book. This ritual is becoming one of my favourite things to do for a few reasons.

1) I always devour Cory's #novels in a day or two and his non-fiction is insightful and illuminating.

2) Cory makes his work available and accessible. There's never DRM. Most of his early and shorter works are freely available under CC licenses. His blog is also free.

3) I really want Cory to keep writing.

"Geometry hates Tesla, and physics hates Starlink. Reality has a leftist bias. The future is fiber, and public transit. These are both vastly preferable, more efficient, safer, more reliable and more plausible than satellite and private vehicles. Their only disadvantage is that they fail to give an easily gulled, thin-skinned compulsive liar more power over billions of people. That's a disadvantage I can live with."
