C'est l'histoire d'une commune de droite avec un bourgmestre pro-voiture, qui veut faire un coup de communication en détruisant des arceaux #vélo. Ils avaient été placés par la région sur une place de parking située juste devant un passage piéton.

Il faut dire que, scandale, les commerçant.es locaux étaient gênées par la disparition du parking auto...

La région a gagné son procès contre la commune, qui va devoir replacer les arceaux!

@MediaActivist It's the same on the Eur. continent (despite the work of @arra in France)... There may be an argument that us European leftists had more trust in their governments' management of the pandemic given how they targeted it during the first two years, while there was more defiance in the US against Trump's management of the pandemic?
And that these trust and defiance have persisted since then?

And anyway, ableism is widespread on the left :(
