We learned the hard way a dozen times or so over the centuries that when our friends sell us out, the Russian barbarians take that as an invitation to start marauding again. Trump has made the world less safe, especially for Poland.

When your institutions fail, courts fail, social security fail, when those millions of people, one meal away from destitution fail, there will be chaos, and in chaos, nobody knows whether the outcomes won't be worse afterwards.
