“Vetting” can mean delegating due diligence to the publisher (or repackager) rather than personally reading the source, but that means vetting the publisher instead. And there is a finite number of those that you can maintain vetted trust in at any one time. You can’t just assume that the “community” somehow automatically protects you against bad actors. It might, but it’s been shown many times that it might not; sometimes everyone thinks someone else would have spotted a problem and no-one does

I am very happy to see the correction. Even if it's a nitpick, I think it's super important to acknowledge and correct any inaccuracies. Otherwise, they pesticide amunitio to covid deniers and conspiracy nuts.
I'm looking for a inexpensive and simple #docker#hosting service, preferably located in the EU. The only thing I found so far is sloppy.io, which costs a bit more than I want to shell out every month just for hosting toy projects... dockerize.io also looks interesting, but I can't find anything about who runs it.

Is there a way to see a feed composed of posts by people that someone else follows? So instead of seeing who X follows, I can see all posts of people who X follows? That would be a great way to discuver intersting content and accounts, I think...
