@Nichelle Yeah. I think we know why deep down but confusing messaging from society about what has value, along with our own self-doubt and anxiety about following unknown paths can cloud that. I needed to get down to the nitty gritty and find my motivation underneath all that nonsense.

I've been struggling mightily with my "why" for writing this novel. Taking a break, traveling, and reading good fiction helped me find it.
