I'll be migrating the Reimu server (Where the E-mail server, Vaultwarden, Etesync, IRC bouncer, Status Site, Website and Twitch Russia proxy are) to a new server in the same location, is basically a server upgrade. It will take 1 hour or less. Thanks for understanding!
Currently investigating why I don't have Internet.
Suddenly internet died and the ISP OLT started to reject my GPON Password and when I try to login on the ISP portal to check if everything is OK with the bills, it says I can't login for some reason, so this is the fault of my ISP. Sorry for the inconveniences.
I'll see if I can share some of my internet to the server from my phone just to keep a few important services running in the meanwhile.
A cable was burning on my street so I had to power off the server and the power just in case, they are already fixing it so selfhosted services may be down for like 1 hour
Hi, if anyone is wondering why all selfhosted services are down, it's because there is a power outage, so because of that the selfhosted server is dead (obviously). I sadly have no ETA but I hope power comes back quickly. I'm sorry for the inconveniences, but this is the type of things that can happen when you selfhost, it has its advantages (like owning all the data, no third parties, cheaper and better processing power) and disadvantages (like power and internet outages)
Ok, Youtube killed a tool that is essential to watch videos on Invidious (inv_sig_helper). Because of this my server literally exploded because invidious tried to reconnect to that tool which is not able to start at all *due to youtube changes*. There is nothing I can do (for now). I will try to find a way to fix it tho, but since that tool is written on Rust, I'm 100% clueless on how to fix it, and for sure, the fix is not an easy task. So yeah, Invidious is dead until a new update.
@dcc Using account will just nuke invidious since you agree to the terms or service of google + they will ban the accounts because of the huge traffic. My "fix" is just a try hard workaround and not the best way to do it. yewtu.be is already testing the new proper fix privately.
Single man kills YouTube by sucking their traffic and ISP doesn't even bother with him. No one can stop him for sucking YouTube traffic and leave them dry.
I love Chile internet freedom (and freedom in general)
I will add a slot of RAM to the server, it will be down for ~5 minutes. I didn't want to do this because the RAM slot that I have is a 4GB one, has a different latency and is from another manufacturer. Mixing RAMs with different properties is not good.
But the server is not able to handle all the traffic so I will do it anyways
