Creo que entonces lo que necesitas no es un plugin que saque Wordpress al fediverso ActivityPub, sino un publicador automático que "notifique" lo que posteas tuteando con las credenciales de esta cuenta. Son objetivos distintos.

I think that'd require each WP-user to have a "Fedi account" field set up, but seems doable and probably useful (we were discussing this in Spanish here). What do you think?

I can just disable comments on all posts by default, but I assumed they needed to be open for AP comments to come in. Are they not governed by that same setting? Are AP comments considered a different animal altogether?

I assume it can be done by adding some hook in functions.php, someone must have done this already.

I have a quick question that I hope you could help me clarify: if the fediverse person deletes their fedi reply, will the replicated comment in my wordpress get deleted automatically? will i instead get a notification so i can do it manually? or will I never know?
i'd like to ensure i respect right to be forgotten.
