@clacke I like you version and have had very similar thoughts. I will however save the data model to a bit later when some key actions have been presented. I finally got my head around the (very elegant) data model after years of giting and so much clicked for me. My key message that I want to teach is the importance of internalizing the model before you do anything more advanced than a commit.

@clacke I’m a grumpy AI sceptic, but it would be quite fun to ask a language model to create a short text in the style of Adam’s and Pratchett.

@clacke I suspect that Douglas Adams wasn’t a great collaborator at all, since he was so bad with deadlines. You’ve probably heard the quote: “I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by”. There is at least one story where his publisher had to lock him into a hotel room for two weeks in order to finish a book.
