@aral FFS. People on social can be intensely opinionated - I get that - but this coupling of ignorance and strong opinion is something I was hoping we left at Xitter.

@GossiTheDog aiming anti-terrorist sentiment at muslims is both unfair and statistically relevant, which is a terrible combination.
My gut tells me islam is used as an excuse for terrorism, rather than a genuine reason - I mean, if you're a violent extremist, does it matter if you're a religious one?
Perhaps that's a secular POV. Regardless, humans being shitty to each other is as of yet an unresolved problem.
