Mastodon: The worst thing is people's pet pictures randomly appearing in your feed

It's amazing to me how wholesome this website can be, they weaponize puppies instead of your information...

@BeAware I have seen some pages here repost info from games on Twitter, so may need to dig around. I know like capcom stuff has been posted here by someone but forget off the top of my head

Twitter update: I logged out of my account and seeing how I feel without it fully active on my computer/phone. If I like it I'll just probably flat-out disable. Sadly MNR has to stay active but I barely even use that one aside from promos...

I am really entertaining finally cutting the last thread hanging on X, I mean I see just bots and doom scrolling and I feel nothing I post there moves, at least here I feel people take a look at things and also, met some kick-ass people to.

@BeAware In all fairness to them, we are sort of trained to "punch back" in internet culture, it's not looked well upon here. But, from the birdsite it is a common and expected occurance. I'm not defending it but just saying we have people still trying to adapt. Old habits die hard and all. But, yes you can just scroll past and also mute posts you don't like and live a very good life as a result

@BeAware I had a lot of stuff planned to work on yesterday morning, but my body went "Bruv, you need to sleep" So I slept till like 9 am when I wanted to be up at 6

I'm planning on doing a post on the desk about the first year of #StreetFighter6 and how it has changed for the better or for the worse. I have a question for those in #gaming about if you haven't played it yet, what could sell you on it now that a year has passed since release, Leave your questions/opnions in the comments and I'll try to address them in the post when I do it.

I caved and bought the #StreetFighter6 DLC and it's one of those times I download DLC and don't feel cheated, and I only played with two of the four charecters, Naturally I'm waiting for the walking metal album that is Akuma....

I took today off work and went to target and found this. Showed my wife and now she thinks she's cursed cause I always find stuff like this on my own...
I'd say it was a productive day off
