Will creating a mastodon instance help the development of Gurochancommunity? Some points:- For image posting: comparing to split posts into boards and threads, tag systems are more flexible and better for search(like image posts)- For discussion: lighter than creating a thread, users may be more willing to express their ideas by toots without disturbing others.- Popularity: mastodon itself is kinda popular, and a default modern web frontend may better attract new users.- Dedicated server: comparing with using existing mastodon instances, a dedicated one for guro contents is better for target users to gather, better site policy control, etc.- Compatibility: maybe just by writing a bot to sync messages from Tinyboard to Mastodon.- Federation: create other instances to increase the robustness and data reliability of the community.- Drawbacks: maybe not very suitable for literature or long and complicated discussion.any ideas?
