Here is my proposal for the `<podcast:contact>` tag, which is clean, simple, versatile, handles booking information, privacy-supporting, and adheres to common conventions.

I'm collaborating with @AlexSanfilippo, from PodMatch.com, on a new and beautifully simple "contact" tag that can work for guest/interview-booking, too.
I hope you all will love it!
@surf @dave @tchambers I don't understand what's so special about Surf over Flipboard. I've heard the feature list, and I was thinking, "Didn't Flipboard already do that?"
@dave Not quite. 3 years ago, Apple had about 474.9K 90-day active podcasts. Today, they have about 478.6K.

@dave Cheap model, cheap outputs.
@aegrumet @dave Or even GPT-5.3-Codex (although 5.4 is better).
@adam Here's a new TTS engine you can play with! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lw7mrsG58KY
I'm back from #Podfest26 in Orlando. This is now my favorite #podcasting conference, and I'd like to share some thoughts!
I would still very much like to see Podcasting 2.0 have "point people" for certain features. People to lead the innovation and make the decisions about their specific feature. Reviewing ideas, discussing with interested parties, evangelizing to new parties, leading in educating, and more.
For example, I would love to take the lead on chapters and cross-app comments/reviews. @alecksgates might be the lead for Value. @js might be the lead for stats. And @james is already leading for location.
@Castopod The site pulls the data from the apps JSON in Podcast Index: https://github.com/Podcastindex-org/web-ui/blob/master/server/data/apps.json
It's weird, I know. When I can finish populating canipodcast.com's data, I'll switch to it as a data source.
I'm live on the #Podcasting2.0 show today to talk about #podcast chapters and PodChapters!
Here's something cool to consider about Apple's upcoming support for Podcasting 2.0 cloud chapters: it means video podcasts can now have chapters in Apple Podcasts!
I just added some AI resources and more tools to the great #podcasting deals list at https://theaudacitytopodcast.com/bfcm25
2 new features on PodChapters!
1. It's small, but we now have a site for our roadmap, feature requests, and update logs: https://roadmap.podchapters.com
2. Using Outline to Chapters™, AI suggestions, or importing will save each resulting version. Easily switch!
It's Christmas Eve, and instead of talking about #podcasting or goals for a new year, I want to share a special Christmas message:
I launched a small but handy update to PodChapters: you can upload the auto-generated chapters from Apple Podcasts Connect so you can edit and improve them. Plus, this converts the Apple-only chapters into MP3 chapters and Podcasting 2.0 chapters for full compatibility!
Check out this great #podcasting resource by my friend Jennifer Henczel:

It's not often that I get to launch a new product. But with each #podcasting product I make, I strive to innovate for podcasters, to help them podcast better.
I pour my heart into everything I do. Every product I create has part of me in nearly every piece, whether it's the code, the design, the content, or the idea,.
