Like Apple/nvidia sending the press all images and details ahead of their keynotes so that they can just press send once the product appears in the live stream, even though nobody has the product in hand.
Can be seen as an ad, but that's what reporting is, as long as you state that it's all things that [company] says and that you didn't verify it yourself.

Why is MTP to transfer files from/to Android so bad.
