@br00t4c Ohnoes! Where did her cross go?! How will the omniscient, omnipresent creator and ruler of the universe know she is on his side, if she doesn't have her cross on? I fear for her immortal soul which is somehow simultaneously undetectable and able to interact with the mere matter of her mortal meatpuppet! Maybe she's in league with Satan, the Final Boss bad guy the creator of the universe made and could destroy, but is being coy about it for some reason.

@br00t4c Having never bought a single Sonos product, I feel safe from being disappointed, surprised, amused, or in any other way impacted or affected by this news. Sonos, being a company, is going to do what companies do: Entice people to a passable product with a promise of a utopia on the horizon complete with fully-automated gay space communism, and then slowly wean the customers off the dream, pull all the value out of the once -passable product, and collect royalties until the sun goes out.

@thomasfuchs UNIX-like operating systems are almost always the answer. That's why I skip a step and just run Linux natively. :)

@thomasfuchs While trying to be sensitive to any and all challenges which might have resulted in "costumers" instead of "customers"... being someone with some theater experience, and not immediately getting the context of the whole toot... I initially thought you were talking about the people who design and assemble costumes for theater... and then I got the context, and costumers was funny to me. No offense intended.

@br00t4c ...yes, but is he in prison, having exhausted all his appeals, yet? I'm so done with these "prophesies" and "prognostications". "It's over for Trump!" "His goose is COOKED!" ...yeah, I don't care. Show me a real picture of him in a real cell in a real prison. ... and not the "contempt of court" cell. An actual prison cell serving an actual sentence of 12 months or more.

@georgetakei It's after the 400-page "short history" of the bloggers "food journey", and another hundred or so pages of how the blogger deals with fussy kids and a disinterested domestic partner. Of course, once you get to it, it's in Klingon.

@patrickcmiller How did we miss this?! It's entirely thinkable! It's completely precedented! It's almost as though this is the exact same thing that's been happening with computers since we allowed them to talk to each other!

@thomasfuchs Atari is finally releasing the 1450XLD. I've only waited 41 years for that. Damn, it's gorgeous.
