I saw that he was playing with Goose but I didn’t see that he played Gen X Cops. When I switched this on after AEW I saw him improvising and he seemed almost outmoded in his playing. I’d guess not using those muscles nightly had something to do with it.. Either way this is still way cool, yeah I wrote it, WAY COOL!

I’m listening to the new Mount Kimbie full length as drive home from work tonight. I’m surprised at its indie rock sound with the strum of guitars and decidedly lo fi esthetic. The songs themselves are catchy and had me thinking of the 90’s UK group HOOD a bit. MK started in the later stages of UK dubstep and morphed into many interesting forms over the years with their last recording working with UK RnB and MC’s from all over Europe. Low key presentation, great LP.

I don’t know the film but I’ve been getting a lot of enjoyment out of this Richard Teitelbaum recently unearthed soundtrack. I’ve just been putting on and letting the tones envelop the room/my ears. He also enlisted some interesting players as helpers but the MOOG in the hands of RT is the real star of the show .

I’d purchased this as well but never listened to it. Two longer form pieces compared to the what I’m assuming were the more dance floor orientated tracks above. If it’s as hypnotic as above I’m definitely going to enjoy.

My three children have all played and beat Metroid Dread on just about all the difficulty levels. They loved the game and Hollow Knight. My seven year old was just struggling to get a game out of his Switch and I asked what was stuck to which he replied “Metroidvania”.. I thought it was funny at least. #Nintendo
