To me, there is nothing more spineless and cowardly than the words: "let's not bring politics into this."

Now I know there are plenty of perfectly valid reasons not to bring up (overt) politics towards people who are actively trying to avoid it. Ordinary people who prefer CWs when dealing with stressful and depressing topics are perfectly fine and valid.

No I'm talking about the bad faith actors and "non-partisan" dipshits who act so fucking smug over not having an opinion.

You can debate endlessly on what exactly is "politics" and how the real world revolves and interacts with it.

But if you DARE tell me that I "shouldn't get political" or "politics are dumb anyway" then you just fuck right off.

I don't fucking care about how much you don't care, just fucking shut up about it.
