So I tried to use and love Ivory for a few weeks but ... it seems to have _real_ trouble keeping the timeline synced, and so when I bring up the window I don't notice it's gone back a few days, so if you've wondered why I've been fav'ing old toots, well...now you do.

Also, a lot more effort clicking _through_ to things, too.

Today’s word is _languid_, thanks to my weird energy levels. I had a lovely walk from Kensington to Footiscray past the Chinese Temple / 天后宫 in the morning, but after that a strange tiredness overtook me. I could force myself to walk a bit and it felt ok, but every time I sat down on a train or a tram or a bus, I felt at risk of not being able to get up again. Having forced myself to Do Things until 4pm, I’ve showered and really am resting. No gym today, then. Bleh.

All that said, I appreciate the quietness of the city before 8am, the Really Quite Good Guy at the Good Guys this arvo who was helpful and patient with my questions about air conditioners, and the Cambodian Baguette place in South Preston that continues to make lovely food.

我终于结束了！I made it to the “end” of Chinese in #Duolingo, where you’re presented with a circle to go around as much as you want to keep things going. If only it had Thai - I’ll have to find other ways/means for learning it. Any suggestions?
