Social media is like a Pavlovian experiment. Depending on which site you’re on, the type of post you send out gives you a better response, which reinforces your behavior. Truth Social reinforces pro-Trump thinking and now I salivate when posting pictures of my old electronics and games on the #fediverse or posting weird shit that pops into my head. I like it here.

Ugh, just not doing well. Medical issues combined with caring for a toddler, money issues, and having to cut my bipolar meds due to side effects. Having suicidal ideations for the first time since I got the proper diagnosis and meds 13 years ago. Every ounce of energy is used to fake it with my kid and make sure he’s happy. Otherwise, I feel dead inside. Seeing my doc in a few days for a med change-up, but I’m hurting. #MentalHealth

Read a new kid’s book my MIL bought for bedtime stories about dragons. It said dragons have X-ray vision. I had to stop and take a deep breath, because this was so blatantly untrue. He can believe in Santa and the tooth fairy, but by god he will NOT be embarrassed in front of his D&D club when he grows up! #Parenting #DnD

In the 90s and 00s, work had great teammates and we would hang out and go out drinking on the weekends. Have not felt that way since the 10s. Is this common with other people or is it just that I’m getting old? I pay attention, and it seems like everyone is doing this as well, not just the older people. Nobody hangs out anymore. Anybody else seen this? Honestly curious.

#NowWatching Barbie on Max. I am a survivor of the 1997 Barbie Girl song on non-stop radio rotation, so I had some PTSD to get through watching this movie. But it was actually really good. Watched 6 hours of Ben Shapiro afterwards, so I’m back to normal now. But for a minute I truly wondered about the benefits of a patriarchy and why we men shouldn’t control everything.

Bought a new game controller and noticed the button lettering (A, B, X, Y) are backwards from normal, at least in the US. In very small letters, the markings are in the normal orientation. What system uses this orientation? I’ve never seen it. Controller is made in China. #Gaming
