The people who think that AI LLMs are stealing from authors by training are often also the same people who complain about copyright abuse, which may demonstrate this is more about relative power of institutions than legal doctrine (psst secretly that’s been true for centuries)

Bluesky has the best design. Mastodon has the interesting subject matter experts. Threads has a lot of people who like to argue with each other. Twitter has the most functional experience (still) but has been abandoned by at least 1/3 of its most interesting voices and is now an echo chamber.
