@georgetakei You, and some of the cast gave me the hope that I could be accepted one day. I’ve been struggle as being gay in a small town in the beginning of the 80’s.

But Star Trek helped me believe in a bright future where everybody could be himself.

It also the root of my passion for science and my regular geekiness.
