Mastodon is trending on Twitter in the UK.

If you're still on Twitter - take the opportunity to magnify that trend - and invite people over (with a link to your favourite server).

I also recommend posting up some nice screenshots of Mastodon for the Twitter audience as a little nudge to help them feel here already and know what it looks and feels like.

Trump is most likely not posting anything on Twitter because... it would wreck the value of Truth Social, which is all about his personal brand.

If he goes back to posting on Twitter, what's the value in Truth Social? The company value would plummet.

Furthermore, Truth Social is going through a merger deal worth billions. So Trump is just stuck.

Remember everyone -

Although you may have had larger "follower" counts on the birdsite, not all of those followers will be active. In fact, a huge number won't be. They'll have just collected like dead wood over the years.

That birdsite follower count has a vanity factor to it. Ignore that - and look at your level of interactions here. That's the test of active followers and a vibrant community.

And then make sure you're chatting away with others too. It makes all the difference.

BREXIT DOCUMENTARY UPDATE

Having hit our crowdfunding target, we've been planning next steps. We have a long list of interviewees we want (still expanding, of course), scouting locations for filming - and gridding out an overall timetable. Documentaries for TV are often done in 6 weeks - but this one will take 3 months, given the sheer info volume.
