Apple just raised a bunch of prices (except iPhone): MacBook Neo starts at $699 now, MacBook Air is $200 more expensive, MBP $300 more, and even iPad pricing went up with iPad Pro being $200 more. Wild...

@WarnerCrocker That second part is definitely happening. When I imported some of mine again they were numbered with a 1. Will talk about it in a video this weekend and in my live stream today: https://shortcut.bot/live

After my podcast app video and losing 600 Shortcuts (I had a backup, all good), made a few changes to my main iPhone Home Screen and today view.

And feature request @marcoarment - please make an option for the play button on the widget to be left-aligned, and color to match the theme I choose in-app 🙏🏻

If you loved Dark Sky, the developers who went to Apple when acquired, have now left and made another Weather app! It’s called Acme Weather and it’s out now:

📣 Podcast News!

Honored to announce I’m joining David Sparks on Mac Power Users as regular co-host! I have big shoes to fill as @ismh86 steps back to focus on Relay, Cross Forward, and continues on Connected, but I look forward to the challenge 💪

Primary Tech, my YT channel, and everything else will continue as normal. Excited for this next season!

Every time a website or app makes you scroll dates and won’t let you just type it in…an angel loses its wings

My son wants a gaming PC for Christmas and I have no idea what’s a good buy. He’s gonna play Fortnite and similar games on it, would prefer a ready-made one. Inexpensive, but powerful enough not to lag.

Any suggestions / good deals out there?

Sneaky great feature in macOS 26.1, you can now enable Clipboard History in Spotlight up to 7 days! Much better than the 8 hour limit.

System Settings > Spotlight

Here’s the thing about windowing on iPadOS 26, many apps have a collapsible left sidebar and the traffic light buttons block you from clicking it 90% of the time 😑

Everyone will have access to ChatGPT 5 today and it decides the best model to use on the fly. No more wondering if you should use 4o, mini, etc.

During the livestream, OpenAI keeps saying, “We can’t wait to see what you build,” which again, is very reminiscent of Apple

📺 Join me for an in-depth look at the BIG changes in iPadOS 26! I demo the new windowing, audio input control, local capture, Files, Journal, and more: https://youtu.be/TWqPencwAoo

Final day here at Apple Park, still can’t get over the beauty of this campus. But meeting incredible people has still been the highlight. Couple more videos I want to get out before leaving, so stay tuned 👀

Immediately went to disprove the Trump / Racist autocorrect iPhone bug, but it actually is for real

If you use Tapestry from @Iconfactory you *may* see some familiar sponsors 😏

Me, waiting for iPads this year

@HilliTech Don't haunt me with this!

Apple just released a new, free Sports app for iPhone only in the U.S., U.K., and Canada. Customizable scoreboards, track your favorite teams, and more leagues coming soon (no MLB, NFL at launch).

Sportsball!
