As a teen, big mansions and sports cars impressed me.

In my 20s, job titles and college degrees impressed me.

Now, financial freedom impresses me.

My credit score dropped when I paid off my car.

Credit reporting agencies told me: "You should get more loans to increase your credit score."

The system punishes you for not owing them money.

They want you to be in debt.

Credit scoring is one of the biggest scams.

The best investment strategies are simple

Want Tech Stocks? Invest in $QQQ or $VGT

Want Dividends? Invest in $SCHD or $VIG

Want the S&P 500? Invest in $VOO or $SPY

You’ll outperform most investors if you DCA into index funds

Investing doesn't need to be complicated

I use an iPhone daily, I own $AAPL.

I use Google daily, I own $GOOGL.

I shop on Amazon daily, I own of $AMZN.

I don't buy stocks, I buy businesses.

For those of you in your 20s and 30s, think about this:

Ages 25 to 40 are only 15 years long.

The decisions you make during this period are important for building financial freedom.

And that time will pass fast.

The clock is ticking.

Some people are liabilities.

Some people are assets.

Be careful with who you invest your time in.

Wasted time is worse than wasted money.

You see the BMW but not the $70,000 car loan.

You see the trip to Bali but not the $10,000 credit debt.

You see the designer clothes but not the $0 Roth IRA.

Social media is an illusion. Don't be fooled by what you see.

What people think is wealth:

What real wealth is:

• Family
• Good health
• Financial freedom

Multi-generational housing, duplexes and ADUs are a life hack.

Grandparents can help provide childcare, help with housing payments and don't have to age alone.

You live on one side and your parents (or in-laws) live on the other.

This can be great for building wealth, and you get more time with family.

College tuition has increased by over 200% in the last 30 years.

Do graduates make 200% more?

No.

In that same period, wages for college graduates have risen by only 30%.

The cost of many degrees has outpaced the salary.

Reminder:

Marry the right person.

The person you choose to marry will be the most important financial decision you ever make.

Never allow a job to steal your life

Unlmlited PTO is a scam.

Management makes you afraid to use it.

And you have to ask for permission to take time off.

So it's not really unlimited when you get told "No".

Then your boss makes you feel guilty when you actually use it.

Also, unlimited PTO does not accrue on the books. Which means no payout for days you don’t use.

If you have unlimited vacation days you have no vacation days.
