Alright people in Chicago that are into metal and bikes...
what are we doing when I come to Chicago? Where are the rides where are the venues and what's going on late summertime?

I've decided I'm gonna board the Empire Builder later this year with the bike and set out for Chicago. I currently have zero plans except I've promised myself I'd go and actually ride around the city AND see some shows around Chicago.
Thus, looking for on the street suggestions and riders that'd be up for drinks, cheers, and metal. Aside from the obvious riding around the city.
๐๐ป Seems you might have some suggestions @timbowman ?
For the first hour of the day I was under the impression it was Thursday.
I was real confused what Iโd done on Wednesday.
@evan @timbray whatโs the diff between strong vs qualified? Iโd say I know both probably, considering how they look at their Palestinian-ness from their American POV. Also more than a few of these humans who can identify as such it might count as both. ๐คท๐ผโ๏ธ
A few months ago I picked up my Brompton, which I've had for more than a few years at this point. It's been on trips with me to various part of the US - when I've had to fly - and in this segment I went to pick it up via Cargo bike and it became a bike in a bike for me.
So far I've used my Brompton for:
Trips where I'm flying somewhere and will need that compact size, such as via flights...
I use it now to drop off my cargo bike at the shop as the way I get back home. Then go to pick it up by taking it to the shop and riding back with it in the cargo bike.
I use it on transit a lot, especially if there is a questionable availability of full size bike racks on the buses.
All that brings me to the kicker question here, what do you use your Brompton for? I've been brain storming and thinking of other uses. I'm always looking for more reasons to take it out!
Shredder, metal head, bikey cyclist, coder, databases, gun nut, tree hugger, peace hippy, war monger, but ya know, it all just depends on so many criteria.
