    For few ideas I'm looking for a way to install Hubzilla locally on a desktop.
    Before i start looking in to all this KVM options i would like to try it with XAMPP

    XAMPP is a free and open-source cross-platform web server solution stack package developed by Apache Friends,consisting mainly of the Apache HTTP Server, MariaDB database, and interpreters for scripts written in the PHP and Perl programming languages. Since most actual web server deployments use the same components as XAMPP, it makes transitioning from a local test server to a live server possible.

    it was easy to install XAMPP - and XAMPP does not need much resources but somehow i can´t install Hubzilla with this system. The hubzilla setup installation script does not start and gives me just a blank page.

    Has someone an idea what i could try to make it work? Thanks

    Some servers deserve to be blocked from federation. Some people deserve to be shunned from federation and never seen again in channel, timeline or stream.

    How can I do that? There does not seem to be any way.

    I often see NSFW content in other networks' posts. People use it for "too long posts" for example.
    I have some sensitive content... how can I make a NSFW in hubzilla ?
    I have activated the addons but I don't see anything in the interface to put my own NSFW content : with a small description to publish.

    I recently visited the Matrix room this morning my time perhaps around 0900 UTC and I was only reading previous post trying to figure out what it is that I'm using. It was very informative.
