Looking for advice if anyone’s specifically had experience laser cutting all the way through 5mm side-pressed bamboo with a CO2 laser without it setting on fire etc. please

I’m all good engraving it.

It’ll cut all the way through if it’s going slowly enough to set on fire but even with many passes if it’s going fast enough to not set on fire I can’t get it to cut all the way through. (8x at 200mm/60% gets most of the way in some areas)

I then realised on the next screen when it asked for money.
I know redeliveries are free. At that point I looked at the URL and realised my mistake.

So here’s some proof that it can happen to anyone. I’ve delivered cybersecurity training in the past.
But they got me at a moment where I was slightly emotionally vulnerable.

It also had three .mobileconfig files as attachments too, which I didn’t spot at first, but these can reconfigure your phone/computer if you open them!

Waiting for an Evri delivery, I saw the notification for this email, & the link took me to a page saying they’d failed to deliver.

These work by social engineering: I was too frustrated to notice it was sent to the “wrong” email address, or the dodgy URL of the page.
It asked for my details. It had no plausible reason to need my DOB so I didn’t give it one, but I still gave it everything else because I was rushing.

OK it’s a funny toot that was reposted not the dull one I thought was. That makes more sense.

Seen some good comments saying that some instances maybe having that as one of the more recent toots available. And others saying that full text search actually works on here too. Unlike some other platforms.

I take back what I said about it immediately feeling creepy.

Well then. Suddenly getting replies to a year-old toot is weird.
Especially with no algorithm to resurface stuff.
I can only assume someone did a LOT of scrolling on my profile and reposted it? That doesn’t feel creepy at all.

If you know any ActivityPub server code that supports multiple ActivityStream post types (note, article, audio, image, video, link) & not just notes like masto, then plz let me know!

Why have many fedi accounts across many servers when I can just have one with me on it. Then I can be followed wherever. Be it masto/Pixelfed/loops etc.

Ideally there’d be an ActivityPub viewer to filter by post type, so you could have feeds for notes, photos, articles, etc.
