@NeonPurpleStar But more seriously, the markets are just many actors making buy and sell decisions independently, not some all-knowing entity.

So a single tweet by somebody with power can really make people reassess how much they want to hold of which stock.

@NeonPurpleStar A good way to look at it that I only figured out recently:

If you have -10% on one day, that effectively makes every +1% in the future a 0.9%. So if the market falls by 10% one day and then rises by 5% on the second, it effectively rose only 4.5% on the second day. Because -10% are now the new baseline.
