@invalidname @Teri_Kanefield If there is a motivation of point-scoring actually happening on different (all) political sides, it would seem that the nuance between “misinformation” “disinformation” doesn’t hold up. It’s all trodding on truth for personal gain.

When I was younger, getting caught telling or promoting a lie was unbearably embarrassing, and seemed to be politically career ending. Something has changed in society to make that less true today.
