@stumblewyk I do not understand how they just don't run the ball more when they aren't in sync. You've got a top 3 offensive line and a near automatic way to convert on short yardage. Can't they just say fuck punts and run it for four downs?

@stumblewyk @emarktaylor @nfl it's a legitimate reason to be a fan I just find it terribly ironic that it's the rival and local team. The Blue and White did fit growing up with high school and PSU colors 🤷♂️

#Flyers might have just scored 2 goals in 46 seconds but Colorado is still dictating the pace and pushing. 5-3 Flyers with 6 minutes left.

#Flyers playing a huge game tonight against my Western Conference team the Colorado Avalanche. The Flyers don't have anyone like Makar, MavKinnon, or Rantanen but they do have Travis Konecny and Sean Couturier. Only watching the 3rd period but damn that Colorado to line is GOOD.

@ben for several years now I've heard people refer to themselves as "technologists" instead of being an engineer so it's definitely not something no one would understand! I do love the addition of "humanist" though as a way to really ground yourself and what you focus on.

@hockey apparently I missed the end of the game because I woke up on the couch at 12:30 so maybe I should pump the brakes a bit on getting excited for night hockey....

Anyways Flyers won 4-1 despite a strong showing by Arizona. Great to see them not be such an on purpose terrible team. Flyers still holding down a playoff spot somehow.

@hockey hot damn! Cam York walks a pick in from just above the circle fakes in by the dot and then leans in below it to roof the puck and score a very pretty goal. That's his 100th career point I believe the broadcast said. His offense is really starting to click lately.

@hockey well end of the second. Arizona really carried the play in the second half there (especially with the power play time). Hart had some good saves to keep the score 3-1. Flyers had the goal though and that's what matters. Incidentally that is what Natural Stat Trick seems to think to with the Flyers leading HDCF chances 2-1 in the period. xGF for the game is still 1.46 v 0.86 in favor for of Arizona....

@hockey oh they showed the penalty, that's some weak BS. Called on Olle Lyksell who's playing his first game for the #Flyers this year after a great start to his season in Lehigh. I don't know the exact numbers but he had been scoring at basically a point a game pace. Torts didn't like it either hopefully he doesn't hold it against Lyksell.
