@minneyar That is dedication. I played FF4 on the PSP found it to be an enjoyable game. I played The After Years as a challenge for a different co-writer on Damage Control. Spite and determination are the only things keeping me going now. :blobcat_throw:
Yeah, I can see second-hand trauma being a thing. Hopefully your wife didn't go too crazy?
Nope, I didn't even bother with those challenge dungeons. I am hurting because of it. I'm going to power through, though. If my co-writer on Damage Control can finish this game without doing any of the bonus stuff, so can I.
Devastated to learn this dungeon goes on for a entire 30 floor. It's just being kicked in the pants the entire way down into said dungeon. At this rate, I might be lucky to finish The After Years by June's end. :blobcatsadreach:
Tonight I'll be streaming more Final Fantasy IV: The After Years for @damagecontrolblog on Twitch. Join me at 8 ET as I tackle the final dungeon. Strap in, folks! It's going to be a long dungeon.
It seems like tonight is hot garbage for trying to deposit checks or scheduling bill payments. I guess all the companies figure no one would waste a perfectly good Saturday night trying to pay their bills online?
Had to get up early today to take care of a bunch of things for Star. She needed her grooming, her meds, and I scheduled her boarding for early August.
Ever since I switched over to the night shift, I've begun to loathe being out and about in the morning/early afternoon. That goes double for Saturdays. Too many people, too much traffic.
Saturday errands are a conspiracy by Big Morning designed to get me out of bed before noon. :blobcatknife:
@damagecontrolblog My god, I hope I finish Final Fantasy IV: The After Years. I've been playing since February. I have thoughts on the game I'm eager to write about in the near future.
I'll probably play Tokyo Mirage Sessions on my lunch break. I really want to dig into the reworked Short Adventure Demo this weekend. (And maybe work on my armor and weapons in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak.)
Come, help us meet this Twitch goal! You can see me personally wrestle with Comix Zone. I played it back in the day and could never get past the temple stage. I won't quit until I beat this game.
My Gargoyles and The Lion King streams were amusing enough.
Part 17 of my Final Fantasy IV: The After Years livestream is now on @damagecontrolblog's YouTube channel. In this I help return two more of Rydia's summons to her side. We also have a showdown with Dark Cecil in another Persona-style battle.
