#Deno and #Bun come with Deno.serve() and Bun.serve() methods that take a (req: Request) => Promise<Response> function and spin up an HTTP server, but is there anything similar in #Node.js?

@twilliability Thank you for encouraging my work. I wasn't seriously considering rewriting it in another programming language, I was just a little taken aback by the poll results. For now, I'm going to focus on improving Fedify's documentation.

@thisismissem When you say ESM builds, do you mean do the Fedify package published to npm support ESM? If that's what you mean, then yes, it does.

I'm constantly improving the documentation, but it's not easy (especially writing in English as a non-native English speaker). 😅

Should I rewrite #Fedify in a programming language other than #TypeScript? 😅

If you already have Deno installed on your system, you can try the fedify command now:

deno install -A --unstable-fs --unstable-kv --unstable-temporal -n fedify jsr:@fedify/cli@0.8.0-dev.154+c62294c6

The `fedify inbox` command, which will be shipped in the next #Fedify release, is a tool that creates an ephemeral #ActivityPub server so that you can debug and test the activities you send.
