Listening to LNP liar (Senator Bridget Mackenzie) now bullshitting about nuclear power. So disappointing to not here interviewer challenge her about the relative costs of power of nuclear versus #RE from wind and solar. And where do the figures for 68,000km of extra/new transmission lines come from? Yes, nearby windfarm needed them, but the LNP proposal for nuclear only provides about 4% of total power needs. To me, they want 15-20 years more of coal and gas power to line their and mates pockets.

Facts and truth important. Journalists (so called) are failing to challenge. Just another media failure. We are being brainwashed.

Seems like this quote not from Nelson Mandela but a UN representative.

Social media users have been sharing a quote about divisions in the world and misattributing it to former South African President Nelson Mandela.
This is the quote: “Our world is not divided by race, color, gender or religion. Our world is divided into wise people and fools. And fools divide themselves by race, color, gender, or religion.” An example of the misattribution can be seen here here .
An online search shows that the quote came from human rights activist and United Nations representative Mohamad Safa. Safa posted it on Twitter and Facebook on Aug. 6, 2020 ( here , here ).
Safa said the words were his, not Mandela’s, on his Facebook page on Sept. 6, here . Safa’s media office told Reuters it wanted “to emphasize that these words were said by Mr. Safa years ago.”

Maria thought she was doing the right thing by connecting with the sperm donor she used to conceive her baby through fertility giant Monash IVF.

"I had joined some forums when my son was born, there was a particular group who advocated for children knowing the donor as soon as possible," Maria said.

"That's why I decided to make contact."

To begin with, the donor's emails to Maria (not her real name) were friendly and harmless. But things took a sinister turn in January this year.

"The donor travelled to my town in rural Victoria from Perth unannounced and contacted me to ask if he could stay with us," she said.

Shaolei Wang and a research team of scientists in bioengineering, microbiology, and cardiology at the University of California, Los Angeles, devised a biocompatible wireless microelectronics device to form a microtubular pacemaker for intravascular implantation and pacing. Their work has been published in Science Advances.

In a new study in mice, a team of researchers from UCLA, the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, and Harvard University have uncovered a crucial component for restoring functional activity after spinal cord injury. The neuroscientists have shown that re-growing specific neurons back to their natural target regions led to recovery, while random regrowth was not effective.
