John S Russell (jsr@social.jsr.com)'s status on Monday, 09-Oct-2023 10:50:37 JST John S Russell @aurynn @rmi If you use Rufus (on an existing windows machine) to burn a Win11 ISO onto USB, it will literally have a tickbox that says (paraphrasing) "Remove TPM requirements” and also, rather delightfully, an option to “Remove requirement to create/login to Microsoft account" in case you only want to run a local account. The installed 11 works normally, including updates. You can also (with a reg key setting) enable bitlocker with a passphrase if required, even with no TPM.
