@pfefferle @matthiasott Since I’ve been around the web for some time, I think about “How do I find new blogs” and “How can my blog be found?”. Webrings and blog rolls come to mind. Are they still a thing?

The more I get into the blogging mindset, the less I post on social media. It is really weird, that I gifted so many thoughts of the last over 10 years to a platform owner who made money out of it. That is no more. My blog will stay ad free forever. The only tracking I do is cookie-free and respects the do-not-track-header and self hosted. So I guess @pfefferle and @matthiasott, you were right. Blogging it is.

Am I ready to share my first blog post in 10 years?

Maybe a matter of habit, but the layout of Twitter looks like this because it works very well IMO. Elements in order of importance left to right, top to bottom. I don’t think I know any LTR site which puts the logo on the right side. Menu on the left hand side, since it is used very often and notifications are displayed there. Big "Publish" button instead of the form, because it declutters the interface.
