using email as analogy for fedi doesn't really work when you find out most people can't tell the difference between google the app, google the search engine, google chrome the browser (many people just call it 'google' too lol), google the company, and google gmail

tenor offers both sd/hd gif options and mp4 versions of all their gifs, and everything uses the mp4 version for obvious reasons
gifs are incredibly old and were made to display really small and really short images, not literally few seconds long shorts in okay quality

@gamer actually, they already announced shaders with the nvidia x minecraft announcement for minecraft bedrock 4 years ago 🤓

@gamer then what about them bringing back third-party shaders support in august this year to the technical preview version of minecraft bedrock (bedrock used to support them since forever but when they replaced their rendering engine with renderdragon around 2020, all of them stopped working)
