If the New York Times wants to continue platforming the perspectives of Israelis, Europeans and Americans that are openly defending, if not stumping for, the continued genocide in Gaza, then maybe its ownership, editorial team, reporters, journalists, interns, janitorial staff and cafe workers should be held responsible for the conditions in Gaza?

After all, this is precisely the argument they made when openly defending the recent extrajudicial slaughter of 5 journalists in Gaza:

Syria just needs to release the hostages and Israel will stop attacking. This has been well-declared since the beginning of this righteous path of aggression.

At a certain point, people have to make the connections between the colonists, slavers and plunderers of the past and their progeny in the imperial core and its satellites today.

Not because they are the same, or because they share the same level of guilt. But because the legacy lifestyle that those crimes have cultivated are a core aspect of the identity of this cohort. They require it. They can't see life in any other way. And they will defend it, at great cost to everyone but themselves.

Biden pardoning a judge who locked up kids willy fucking nilly, and in return for cash payments, on the same day that a middle-aged mom, with no priors, is jailed by a judge for vaguely threatening insurance executives should make it pretty clear to people that they will find no recourse through the economic, judicial or political systems presently available to them.

They all must fall. Stop trying to bargain with systems who view your existence as inherently, and perhaps preferably, disposable

The people who originally stole your land are now relentlessly bombing and stealing what remains of your land - harassing, brutalizing, humiliating, and frog marching those left into progressively smaller areas, concentrating a shrinking and disabled population into uninhabitable camps and the wild thing is, it's not a crime!
