@faab64 The best the American Psycho could do was not send bombs in support of an active genocide campaign for barely a week.
Lesser eviling like a boss

It's not enough to stand against genocide after genocide begins happening. You have to stand against the conditions that produce genocide.
Colonialism, industrial arms production, economic embargoes, systematic dispossession, embedded surveillance infrastructure, permanent occupation, forced demilitarization of one party and the hyper militarization of another -
The inevitability of October 7th and its aftermath was determined nearly a century ago.
@InternetEh I don't know if it has be convincing? My lib parents don't especially like cops, but they tend to trust young folks and anyone that opposes the "mainstream consensus" far less so and this kind of 'respectable' punditry helps to reinforce those reactionary positions.
The UNRWA thing today is what "Israel" will use next month to swat at whatever ruling the ICJ hands down.
"They're antisemitic terrorists, you see."
And there are more than enough suckers out there, along with the single largest military dictatorship in human history, that will happily do whatever it takes to preserve "Israel's" existential durability, whether or not it aligns with "justice"
More than happy to be a big, wrong asshole here - But I'm just absolutely not getting my hopes up about what will go right considering how much can go wrong.
Oh is the US 'embarrassed' by the ICJ's ruling?
Like they were in Vietnam? Or Afghanistan? Or Somalia? Yemen? Like they're presently being embarrassed in Ukraine?
What are the material implications of this embarrassment exactly?
@siege gotta be where "Robitussin" comes from right?
Some critical history on "Israeli Settlers" and how that term captures nearly every last one of them
@emilygorcenski I'm interested, especially in its concert offerings, but it's gotta be an absolute panopticon of surveillance and biometrics-harvesting, right? I imagine that's as state of the art as the architecture
@KarlBode "trust fund brunchlords" is off the dang map.
@emilygorcenski The statement has apparently changed since then. ESPN and all the local news orgs in Boston have updated the story. Apparently the deceased is being described as a "long time Patriots fan"
@emilygorcenski Looks like it was a Pats fan that died. And a Dolphins fan that killed him.
Speak easy or not at allWe are called to speak for the weak, for the voiceless, for the victims of our nation and for those it calls ‘enemy,’ for no document from human hands can make these humans any less our brothers. To be rich should be a crime.he/himprofile pic: a green background with the text "Where's shebeen?" in blackheader image: a headline from a legacy outlet which states "Taliban plans to turn former bases into special economic zones"
