It would be almost invisible to people on the ground. They rejected it because it “might interfere with God’s word”. God, of course, famously using the 900-1800MHz band.
This weekend's bonus project - make a probe mount for the MTP3000-series Tetra mobile's RF service port. Took a good few iterations of the "print → test → edit" cycle but I strangely enjoy that process. I should be able to connect these mobiles to the IFR 2968 now :blobfoxcofe:

Anyone know a good tool to take two serial ports and interleave them (for example when sniffing a UART using the receive lines of two additional ports)?
