Okay, but I must admit that I'm little by little getting older, too. First time in my life I now, from October this year, have permanent medication. That's for high blood pressure. It was a shock, means that I'm an old man now...

Zuerst, wenn ich die Karte ansehe,
erinnere ich mich an die kleine Station Rosenheim, zwischen München und Salzburg, wo ich in einer kalten Januarnacht 2019 aussteigen musste. Der Zug einer privaten Bahngesellschaft sollte nach Salzburg, aber dann eine Anzeige meldete plötzlich ein anderes Ziel. Da sollte ich dann ûber zwei Stunden warten. Fragte einem Taxifahrer draußen, er sagte, er nimmt über 100 € nach Salzburg. Zu teuer.

Solche schöne Erinnerungen.

Ab und zu findet man was interessantes.
Kennst du den Namen Richard Trunk? Er war Komponist und auch Nationalsozialist. Seine Heimatstadt war Tauberbischofsheim im fränkischen Nordosten Baden-Württembergs. Sein Name lebt dort noch, aber wie lange...?

Yes, he is indeed a very personable actor, I'm not trying to deny that. To me, Picard is the real captain of the Enterprise. And in Voyager of course Kathryn Janeway.

I didn't like him very much, neither as captain Kirk in Star Trek, nor as the crazy old lawyer Denny Crane in Boston Legal. But this is of course only my modest opinion.

Hungary, hm, but it's Orbánoland today, so it's not so important.

I've also recently chatted with a cheese lady at a supermarket. That was a very good chat, because I could tell her how much I like a type of Danish "Gammelost", which they occasionally have in their sortiment. She promised to order it more often in the future. :blobpats:

Ja, das stimmt sicher. Und ich bin kein Vereinsmensch, so die Prognose ist niedrig.
Muss auch zugeben, dass ich nicht sehr aktiv nach Freunde in Deutschland gesucht habe. Von meinen langen und guten Freundschaften nut einige sind mit Ausländern, manche in Estland, eine in Norwegen und eine in Dänemark.

Ich glaube, es ist nicht leicht sich als Ausländer mit Deutschen zu befreunden.
Vor Jahrzehnten hatte ich einen Kollegen aus (Ost)Deutschland kennengelernt. Das war Freundschaft und zusammen haben wir uns über das Ende der DDR gefreut. Aber das ist schon Geschichte.
Später via Twitter eine norddeutsche Zahnärztin, mit der wir gemeinsame Interesse (Klassische Musik) haben.
Nicht mehr, obwohl ich seit Jahrzehnten in Deutschland gereist habe. Und auch die Sprache ziemlich gut verstehe.

@kaia I red somewhere that there in NRW are passed away also candidates of some other parties, not only AfD candidates. There is something real mystical going on...
