Finished my first #cdrama - The Longest Day in Chang’an. Loved it! Wonderful sets, acting, and music.
Spouse is becoming obsessed with China, so we started Nirvana in Fire right away. Any recs for historical cdramas? Especially any that are based on real people/events. I heard that Ming Dynasty 1566 is a classic, but it’s not on Viki US.

Sick and needed something fluffy to watch so I started #LovelyRunner bc we have a prize named after it 😛 Also it has a really high rating on Viki #Kdrama

Finished #CanThisLoveBeTranslated #Kdrama very quickly. I mostly really liked it--especially the way it looked— but I didn’t care at all about the second couple 😛

Huge turnout at #pdx #NoKings today. So moving. Also saw these 2 pairs of T-rexes have a very excited meeting 🥰

Needed something light to recover from Adolescence, so I started #ThePotatoLab #Kdrama Wasn’t sold on the first episode, but by the end of episode 4, spouse and I are both hooked. It’s very funny, the leads are great, and I love me a village full of energetic old people in mismatched clothes. 🥔🥔🥔

OK #kdrama folks - are there any dramas that I should watch on Prime real quick before I cancel it?

This 30-year-old #Kdrama just became available on Netflix in Korea, but apparently not in the US 😕. I read a thread about it on Bluesky saying that South Korea was glued to it in 1995 bc it was the first show to really talk about the Gwangju uprising. Very interested in seeing it, so I hope it comes to the US! The linked description calls it a masterpiece.
