In case some of you aren't aware yet: Large employment websites that also offer career guide articles meant to help you win jobs and earn more have now begun using AI to write those articles. So instead of telling you how to stand out and improve your odds, they'll simply regurgitate the same SEO fodder that's already clogging half the web.

Next time you apply somewhere, ask true experts for help and don't rely on those shitty websites!

An update that absolutely no one could've seen coming**: One of the companies using AI instead of qualified copywriters to draft their career guide blog posts is now realizing that these texts are highly generic, repetitive, and of little value for readers. They will have to be redone, and a lot of time and resources were wasted. Awww. 😏

@feditips Is there (going to be) a way to also move the "Getting Started" column around? I'd love to have it on the left rather than on the far right. I use multiple columns, so for example, when I click on someone's profile in one of my first columns, it'll open in the "Getting Started" column all the way on the right. This leads to lots of horizontal scrolling. (On Tweetdeck, I used to move less important columns to the right half of the layout.)
