Lol, I grew up on an unregulated internet in all the same forums these body pillow rapists did except when they had LESS rules.

Nobody ever had a bad outcome just blocking nazis; like I was saying in another thread - you can literally report them, tell them to follow their leader, then block them in about 10 seconds flat. It takes them a lot longer to spin up another server once they've been silo'd.

I'm not saying fascist harassment is "okay" or anything; but I am telling ya that just "not giving a fuck and blocking them" is an option. Don't waste your life wondering why broken hateful people are how they are.

The truth is we've already booked, as in written in the money machine, more than enough fossil fuels to burn the planet to a crisp. All that money has been counted, wealth has been allocated, loans have been issued, stock prices have been set, based on oil and gas we haven't burnt yet. Entire planks of the global economy, entire fortunes of the richest ppl on earth, are dependent on the assumption these fuels are already spoken for/monetized/and burnt. If you end oil, you take away their money.

I think folks focusing on better energy solutions as a way out for capitalism are ultimately being very myopic, because they don't understand both sides of the genocidal coin we're looking at here; the question is not "can we do this without fossil fuels" - the rich people and the politicians don't care, they're not going to let you for the single most obvious reason you can possibly imagine, but never cross reference with your analysis of the energy sector.

Folks, I know how appeals courts work; I'll be okay tomorrow. I'm just tired of watching the absolute worst people do the exact awful shit I thought they were going to do and then when it hits a court someone in a funny robe goes - "well I know what the law obviously says and on its face this is nightmare fascist shit, but due to this uno reverso card the government played and an act written in the late 1800's, they can totally do this"

If you want to know what made the Nazis, the Nazis, and not just "one of many fascist regimes in the dustbin of history" it was this - the murders were systemic, and logistically organized through an integration of the whole state and society, for that purpose. That's how you rack up the kind of body counts we saw in the Holocaust.

And I'm sorry, but reading the newspaper is keeping me awake at night because I'm watching us building a streamlined fascism machine that only ends in one place.

Look, I'm not mad, but I dunno what you folks want me to say. If I simply acknowledge what I know, that America has always been fascist, my writing is off putting and not taken seriously by normal ppl who wouldn't know what fascism is if it bit them on the ass. If however I make allowances for a broader audience reading my work, lefties get mad at me for not knowing what *I* taught many of them a decade ago - we've been fascist forever; while simultaneously minimizing that things ARE changing.

America has always been fascist and also what's happening now IS worse than it has been post-Emancipation.

Typically I describe this as the "descent into overt fascism, as opposed to covert fascism" but that doesn't always get the point across and is honestly not all that precise.

So if you folks who DO have a good background in theory could understand that by "descent" I actually mean "getting way fucking worse all the time" so I can talk to ppl who don't know fascism, I'd appreciate it.
